Who is responsible

The controller for this website is Igor Boruch, a Polish sole proprietor trading as Igor Boruch Scriptiway.

What data we use and why

• When you visit, Vercel handles requests and may process technical data such as IP address, request time and browser information to deliver and protect the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
• If you agree, Umami Cloud measures pageviews and selected clicks. We send the page path without parameters and fixed event identifiers; we do not send email addresses, account IDs or purchases. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence or, where your request concerns a service, taking steps before a contract.

Analytics and your choices

Analytics is off by default. We save your choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again. The “Analytics” button at the bottom of the page lets you enable it or withdraw consent just as easily. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

We also save your theme choice in local storage. Umami states that its analytics are cookie-free. Your browser may send technical data to the provider when loading its script, which happens only after consent.

Providers and retention

We use Vercel for hosting, Umami Cloud in the EU region for optional analytics, and Google for email. Providers may use subprocessors and international transfers under their terms. Technical data follows those services’ retention settings; we keep aggregate statistics only while useful for evaluating the site. We retain correspondence for as long as needed to answer and resolve it, longer only where required by law or to handle claims.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your data, and object when we rely on legitimate interests. Where applicable, you can request data portability. Email scriptiway@gmail.com. You can also complain to Poland’s data protection authority (UODO).
